This month our photography class were lucky enough to take part in an Astrophotography project at Kielder Observatory. Kielder Observatory is one of the most remarkable places to visit in the whole of the UK, it is a public astronomical observatory which is second to none.
The group were there to practise their skills in photography and learn how telescopes and camera equipment are used to collect photos of stars and planets across the galaxy. As part of this trip, they also had the opportunity to take part in a hands-on workshop experimenting with slow shutter speeds to create amazing light paintings.
Look at the amazing work they have produced – we are in awe!
